The Tim Commerford Natural StingRay 4 is an ash body, 34" full-scale bass that has been created to meet Tim's exacting specifications. Highlights include a custom numbered neck plate (#1 through #50), a pickup cover thumb rest, and an adjustable finger ramp, allowing for a more comfortable anchoring position when playing fingerstyle. Other custom refinements include a sculpted 5-bolt neck joint with full access to all 22 stainless steel frets, a 3 position Parallel / Single-Coil / Series pickup rotary switch and push volume control with passive gain boost, powerful neodymium magnets for greater output, and a classic string-through bridge with adjustable mute pads providing players with the ability to dial in the perfect tone.
