Stingray 4 - Plumpkin - Rosewood Fretboard
First introduced in 1976, the StingRay has been revered as one of the most iconic bass guitars in history. This StingRay Special features an exclusive Plumpkin finish that shifts from a purple to a subtle orange, an updated eighteen volt 3-band preamp, a neodymium pickup, elegant and comfortable contours, and a sculpted neck joint for uninhibited access to all 22 stainless steel frets. Through the decades the StingRay has maintained the same solid roadworthy construction, including a distinct oval pickguard, 3+1 tuning key configuration, and the ever-popular Music Man tone -- all of which are combined to produce a look, feel, and sound that is remarkably unmistakable. This particular model is limited to 5 units worldwide.
